RMLP RECEIVES COMMENDATION FOR MUTUAL AID
RMLP, your town's lighting plant works cooperatively with the American Public Power Association, providing mutual aid to communities who need our help after storms and other emergencies. And in return, Rowley receives help from other electric companies when it's needed most.
We recently received certificate recognition from APPA and the New Hampshire Electric Co-op for our mutual aid in the past year to help restore power in the Granite State. Thanks for being a RMLP customer!
"REDUCE THE PEAK ALERT NOTIFICATIONS" EXPLAINED
Occasionally, Rowley Municipal Lighting Plant issues “Reduce The Peak Alert Notifications”. These are usually announced due to extremely high or low temperatures and projected high energy use during a specific short period of time. During these periods, the price of buying electricity from our suppliers substantially increases. If customers voluntarily cut back at these times, it helps RMLP keep everybody’s longterm electric rates lower.
Get answers to your questions in our RMLP “Reduce The Peak Alert Notifications” flyer.
